Experience the Active Kilauea Volcano from Summit to Sea!
This lava adventure takes you through Hawaii Volcanoes National Park where you will witness the glow from Halema’uma’u crater at the very summit of the volcano, down the Chain of Craters Road to the ocean. Hike out amongst the lava landscape and along the sea cliffs to active lava flows. Scout for hot spots and experience the raw power of molten lava flows as they make their way to the sea.

Current conditions require an 8-10 mile round trip hike along a gravel road and across uneven rocky terrain. Safety precautions are always taken first and all participants are expected to follow the guide’s instructions while on tour. It is a strenuous and hot environment, so be well prepared.
